Rad Diver (Demo)
Rad Diver (Demo) is the first build of my game I'm happy to release, though it doesn't capture my full vision for the game in the future.
Zooming your browser in or out whilst playing causes some issues due to oversights in my code, but going back to the default zoom and restarting the page will reset it.
I'm hoping to eventually implement:
- Controls based on following the mouse/touchscreen to move up or down (would allow faster and more precise gameplay than keyboard, closer to my original vision)
- Persistent highscores (currently resets if you go back to the main menu)
- Global highscores/leaderboards (would love to let players compare scores)
- Introduce different playstyles with different fish
- Progression system that allows players to use fish collected to unlock new playable fish
- Base new fish on traits/associations with fish such as speed, luck, or special ways to attack
- Potentially add powerups to spice up gameplay (protective bubble, speed boost, etc)
I'll be working on fixing the bugs and implementing more features when I have the time, but I'm happy with the demo version for now. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my silly little game!
